Bandits attack the Clock bar in Quarto but the bulletproof glass resists

This time the bandits lost the battle with the bulletproof glass: despite the fury and violence of the blows of one of the four bandits. The target was the Clock bar in Corso Italia in Quarto. But the bulletproof glass resisted the blows of a large bricklayer's hammer and a crowbar. In the end the attack failed but the damage and the fear for the owners remain.

In the video released by Welcome Favelas, four young men can be seen standing outside the Clock bar in Quarto at night with the back door of their car open.

Suddenly, two men wearing balaclavas, knowing the camera was filming them, grabbed a hammer and crowbar from above and began violently pounding the bulletproof glass. Despite more than twenty blows, the glass held firm. Thus, the attack failed. The bar owner posted a post with two photos of the damage.

"Always open, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., because the Clock has become an important point of reference for this area.", he wrote. And then he added: "We were here this morning, we were saying, and this despite yet another attempted burglary during the night. We've now counted 14 in two years of business. The dismay is enormous, the fear is immense. We no longer think if they'll return... but when! Despite everything, every time we rolled up our sleeves, repaired the damage, and opened our doors, right on time, for breakfast. Each time we felt the solidarity and support of our customers. Now, however, we would like answers from the institutions. What we ask for is more assiduous surveillance of the area and greater security. For us, for all the businesses in Quarto, for our community."
