Arrests for drug dealing and illegal possession of weapons in the northern area of Naples.
The night led to arrests by the Carabinieri of the investigative unit of Castello di Cisterna, engaged in combing through the drug dealing areas in the hinterland of the northern area of Naples.
The checks concerned in particular the cities of Afragola and Cardito. In Afragola, Mauro Viziola and Giovanni Manzo, aged 39 and 26, known to the police, were arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
During the search of the apartment, 300 grams of narcotic substances were found and seized, including cocaine, hashish, marijuana and crack, as well as packaging material.
During the searches in the Salicelle complex, the Carabinieri found 2 perfectly functioning sawed-off shotguns. In Cardito, again during the same operation, Antonio Capasso, a 42-year-old local man, also already known to the police, was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons, ammunition and receiving stolen goods.
In the man's apartment, 2 precision rifles worth 10 thousand euros each were found, which were found stolen in the province of Salerno, and 138 rounds of ammunition. The long weapons and sawn-off shotguns will be subjected to ballistic tests to determine whether they were used in crimes or other crimes. The three arrested were transferred to the Poggioreale prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
