Carinaro. The Carabinieri knew that during this Christmas holiday period a criminal could possess illegal firecrackers.
And for this reason this morning the Carabinieri of the Station of Gricignano Aversa, proceeded to search the home of a 45-year-old local man, already known to the police for the production, trafficking and possession of narcotics and the unjustified possession of altered keys or lock picks.
During the operations, carried out inside his apartment, Carinaro, the man was found in possession of over 40 kg of fireworks and homemade pyrotechnic devices of category IV and V, placed on a table on the veranda and held in the absence of the required authorisations.
The material found was subjected to criminal seizure. The 45-year-old, who will have to answer for illegal possession of explosive material, was accompanied to the barracks and reported at liberty.
