In detail, over 543.000 products and accessories of various kinds were seized, such as objects, lights and Christmas decorations in general; personal products and cosmetics; computer and/or electronic material; products for animals; as well as tobacco products without the State Monopolies mark. The commercial value of the goods seized is approximately 630.000,00 euros.

In addition to the seizure of the goods, the traders were administratively sanctioned, with overall fines amounting to over 464.000 euros, the maximum amount allowed by law, and were therefore reported to the local Chamber of Commerce for the measures within their jurisdiction.

The Guardia di Finanza continues its activity aimed at countering the spread of products that do not comply with safety standards throughout the province of Caserta, helping to ensure effective consumer protection and a competitive market where honest economic operators can benefit from fair competition conditions.

At the same time, on the front of surveillance of the production, trade and possession of fireworks, the financial police of the Capua Company seized approximately 70 kg of category F2 fireworks found inside a car driven by an Italian citizen, who was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
