LDomenico Scarlatti Association founded in 1983 by Maestro Enzo Amato, its aim is to spread the great music and culture of the Neapolitan Music School of the eighteenth century.
During its long career, well-known artists and scholars have actively and fruitfully collaborated in the realization of numerous projects promoted by the Association, including: Maria Luisa Anido, Maxence Larrieu, Sandro Cappelletto, Marcello Abbado, Roberto Gabbiani, Marcello Abbado, Aniello Desiderio, Francesco Caracciolo, Tomas Spalinski, Theodora Pavlovitch, Leo Brouwer, Antonio Florio and the Cappella della Pietà dei Turchini and others.
Over time, the Association's activity has intensified, as can be seen from the achievement of numerous patronages, including from high institutions such as, to name a few, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the European Parliament Office for Italy, the European Commission Italian Representation, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the French Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy, the Institute of Italian Culture in Stuttgart, the Institute of Italian Culture in Bremen, the Institute of Slavic Culture, the CIM Unesco, the Superintendence of Environmental and Architectural Heritage of Naples and the Campania Region.
