“We are making a significant investment, 40 million euros” says the governor who explains the interventions in detail: “Having to demolish the grandstand, because it has structural problems, we decided to redo the entire facility, the underground parking for residents and traders: it's a great thing, we are proud of it Napoli, for the economic forces, for the residents and even more so for the children who will have the opportunity to play sports in a truly beautiful facility”.
The demolition of the grandstand is expected to be completed by the end of the Christmas holidays, also so as not to impact in any way on the teaching activities of the adjacent school, the Isis Giustino Fortunato. "In February we will have to complete the work on the swimming pool and then it will be usable. One step at a time we will make a real revolution here in Vomero", says De Luca who then sets the objective for the end of the operations.
"We aim to complete everything in 2 years, but we will deliver the facilities in blocks as we renovate them. The key point is to guarantee safety conditions because if we have an open construction site we can't take the children to run on the track. We will try to burn the times obviously, not waste a minute, but to do a job as God commands".
