A long absence that did not go unnoticed, the result of a dispute over rights, finally over: from December 18th, Eduardo De Filippo's masterpieces will return to RaiPlay.
A collection of forty comedies, of which the renowned Neapolitan playwright, still celebrated and applauded worldwide, was both the author and the interpreter. In the most festive period of the year, RaiPlay lights up the holidays with a rich assortment of exceptional titles, and among them could not be missing the masterpieces of Eduardo De Filippo, an undisputed icon of the Italian Theater of the twentieth century. Starting from December 18, 2023, the Rai streaming platform will once again host the vast collection entitled “Christmas at De Filippo's house".

The collection includes forty works, among the most famous, in which the Neapolitan playwright both wrote and acted, ranging from the two versions of “Natale in casa Cupiello” to “Filumena Marturano”, from “Napoli milionaria” to “Non ti pago”. These masterpieces of Italian theater, anchored in the collective memory, are now available on RaiPlay in a selection curated for the general public.
