The wait for the PARTIES at the KAROL THEATRE di Castellammare di Stabia becomes an opportunity to share with the public a poetic story about respect and love for nature, the protagonist of the THE THREE PINES OF CHRISTMAS of the Friulian company Molino Rosenkranz.
Included in the YOUNG artistic program conceived and organized by Casa del Contemporaneo and Le Nuvole, the show will be on stage on Saturday 16 December 2023 at 17 pm for families with a double preview performance - Friday 15 December at 9.30 am and 11.30 am - for nursery and primary schools.
Freely inspired by "The Ice Child" by Vivian Lamarque, Roberto Pagura writes and stages a delicate story about three fir trees who experience Christmas with apprehension because it is precisely in this period that the "Christmas tree hunters" loom. The story is that of Verdescuro, Quantoverde, Verdementa: three beautiful Pini friends, who come to life through foam rubber and fabric puppets animated by the expert hands of the narrator who traced their story in a second-hand dealer's shop. On a mountain, the three pine friends stood quietly under the snow, before being awakened by the horrible noise of chainsaws. And when the sound gets closer, the three pine trees begin to cry and it is known that their tears look a bit like snow, so much so that, from that moment on, the men decide to hurry up and cut them down "before it starts snowing again... ”. The musical accompaniment, performed live by Michele Pucci, with various traditional Italian and world instruments, will create evocative sound environments.
“A look at Christmas that opens a different perspective of reflection, with a strong environmental value – says Morena Pauro, Young artistic curator – and we are happy that many school groups wanted to share this artistic choice with us, because it is never too early to talk about ecology and empathize with nature".
The entrance ticket, on Saturday afternoon, is €9 (single seat) with the possibility of a Card for 5/10 entries.
