The series of literary events “Province Infette” conceived by BookCrossing Camerota is enriched with a new meeting.
The title of the exhibition is inspired by the Pica Law - "Procedure for the repression of brigandage and Camorra members in the infected provinces" - passed in 1863 by the nascent Kingdom of Italy to combat the phenomenon of brigandage that was rampant in the territories of the former Bourbon Kingdom.
After the first meeting dedicated to the figure of the brigand Marino, this second appointment will focus on the opposite and parallel lives of two other protagonists of that historical moment: "... a brigand and a general, Carmine Crocco and Emilio Pallavicini di Priola.
