A 32 year old man from Vibonati, in the province of Salerno, was arrested following investigations carried out after the complaint filed by his mother. The victim filed a complaint at the local police station reporting the continuous mistreatment and threatening behavior of her son, who was living with her.
The episodes had been going on for months with the man's aim of obtaining money. The requests had become increasingly pressing in recent weeks, hence the mother's decision to contact the police.
