So the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi, answering a question about the installation of Christmas lights on the main streets of the city. On the reason for the delays in installing the lights, Manfredi explains: “It is a fairly complex administrative problem.
Last year – the mayor recalls – we had a single tender that however failed three times because the amount was very large, then we made direct assignments. This time we tried to make a framework agreement, but the time was very tight so now we are studying a completely different administrative strategy to ensure that next year the problems we had this year are not repeated”.
