The artists who will be on stage soon
Fantomatik Orchestra (December 17): is a musical project that was born in Tuscany in 1993. Over the years, the street band has played in the streets and on the stages of many Italian and international capitals; it has introduced concerts of great artists, has participated in broadcasts, theatrical and cinematographic events, developing an original identity, which does not make it resemble either the traditional village band, nor the classic street band or American marching band. The care of the arrangements, the choice of the Funk, Rock, Etno, Prog, Jazz, Pop repertoire, the instrumental formation, the energy and vitality of the musicians give rise to a unique musical show that manages to involve the public not only in listening, but also in dancing and movement. The Fantomatik Orchestra brings music home, creating a social relationship capable of sharing emotions, sensations, moods. Leading the group of musicians, creator and leader, is Stefano Scalzi, a nationally renowned trombonist and arranger, with great live and studio experience in jazz, pop and funky.
Enzo Gragnaniello (January 04): the very long career of the musician, author and composer, for decades a deep and passionate voice of Napoli more authentic, is one of the most anticipated events of the festival. An artist deeply linked to his city, even in his latest recording effort Enzo Gragnaniello takes care of the lyrics and arrangements entirely, created in the intimacy of his home in the Spanish quarters of Naples. Live, with his excellent band, he transports the audience on a sound journey full of pathos and sentiment.
The triptych of exclusive concerts ends with the performance of a second marching band, the Zastava Orkestar (January 07). The group is composed of members from some of the best orchestras in Alta Maremma and beyond. The instruments used are strictly acoustic (brass, wind and percussion). The repertoire includes pieces from the Balkan folk tradition, as well as original arrangements and compositions. The performances, evocative of atmospheres and situations inspired by Kusturiça's films, are quite lively and range from music, theatre and juggling, actively involving the audience, thanks also to the excellent feeling between the members of the orchestra, who have been working on the project together since 2002;
The experiments of Zastava Orkestar involve not only the purely musical aspect, but also the search for a particular form of show typically “street”, in which the traditional dichotomy between those who perform and those who remain passive spectators is rejected. To break down these barriers, normally between Zastava and the public there is no stage, barriers, microphones, sound system or intermediation of any kind: the show can last up to 90″ and is a collective celebration in which anyone, respecting others, is free to participate if and how they want.
