Five thematic itineraries with 78 guided tours curated by Gabbianella Club Events, and 25 touring shows curated by SG sas. A journey to discover Christmastime Naples, with its legends, mysteries, stories, and traditions, concluding on January 7th.

The "Revelations" project was presented this morning by the general director of Culture and Tourism of the Campania region Rosanna Romano, the municipal councilor for tourism and productive activities, Teresa Armato, and Diego Giuliano, manager of Gabbianella Club Events.

The project was funded by the Campania Region with POC 2014-2020 "Strategic Plan for Culture and Cultural Heritage 2022" - an investment of 400.000 euros - and promoted by the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples.

"Complex and structured projects like 'Rivelazioni' are clear evidence that the dialogue between institutions exists and is working. The results are visible and tangible," said Rosanna Romano, Director General of Culture and Tourism for the Campania Region. "'Rivelazioni' is part of the annual planning implemented with the Campania Region's strategic plan for culture and tourism, through investments in support of regional capitals. With this project, Naples has fully embraced the regional policy of local themes that enhance cultures, places, people, and, above all, the community."

Revelations offers more than 150 events, including themed tours, shows, and street entertainment for tourists. It's a program that reveals the deepest identity of Neapolitan life, showcasing Christmas traditions, from Neapolitan bingo to the particularly characteristic sweets of our Christmas. It's also an opportunity for our citizens to rediscover and relive the profound spirit of the holidays.

We are working on an increasingly personalized welcome, offering tourists an experiential stay that allows them to fully experience our traditions. During this period, visitors will meet 35 street tutors who will distribute bilingual (Italian/English) information brochures, which are also available at tourist information points.

There are also e-bike tutors who will not only provide information on what's happening in the city but will also point out alternative routes and city attractions to decongest particularly crowded streets. Naples continues to record significant numbers: last weekend alone, 200.000 tourists arrived in the city, to whom we want to showcase and offer an increasingly welcoming tourist destination," added Councilor Armato.

The five themed itineraries are "The City of Nativity Scenes," "The Flavors of Christmas," "Wandering Ghosts," "Urban Park," and "The Playful Neapolitan Christmas." More than one itinerary is available in a single day. After each tour, a small event will take place to help participants delve deeper into Neapolitan traditions.

A journey through music, songs, recitations, and cabaret related to Christmas and beyond. All the tours are free and must be booked on the Eventbrite platform, where, along with the dates, times, and meeting places are listed. The guided tours are inclusive: they include space for LIS and people with disabilities, who have reserved seats and a dedicated booking procedure for each tour. There are also numerous traveling shows, the schedule of which can be found on the Municipality's website.

Narrated music offers a new way to narrate art and reveal the history and mystery of a place: a script, a narrator, actors, and extras, who with their stories manage to bring past events into the present, projecting them, through music, into the future.

Following the success of Sanitansamble in the Basilica of San Giovanni Maggiore and the Conservatory Student Orchestra performing in the Church of Santa Maria dell'Aiuto, Coccia & Friends will perform the lyrical prose comedy "Mamma non sapere di essere un tenore!" in the Church of SS. Cosma e Damiano (Sunday, December 17 - 20.00:18 pm), students from the Margherita di Savoia Music High School will interpret the setting with traditional Neapolitan music in the church of Donnalbina (Monday, December 18.00 - 25:11 pm), and Scarlatti for Everyone! - an amateur orchestra composed of 28 members aged 20 to 20.00, commissioned by the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti - will perform in the Basilica of San Giacomo degli Spagnoli (Wednesday, December XNUMX at XNUMX:XNUMX pm).
