Mondragone, daughter's shocking confession: "I didn't have money for the funeral and I locked it in the trunk"

Is it a drama of poverty, a moment of madness, an act of ignorance and discomfort or something else? In the meantime the autopsy will clarify the causes of death of Concetta Infante, the 77-year-old woman found mummified in a trunk in his house in Mondragone.

For the death of the elderly woman, originally from Portici, her 40-year-old daughter who lived with her is being investigated. At the moment, the criminal file has been opened in the prosecutor's office for concealment of a corpse.

The suspect told the police that her mother had had a baby more than a month ago domestic accident, she had fallen and hit her head, and then died, but she didn't have the money for the funeral and so he had closed the body in the trunk and sealed it.

But in the meantime, the woman has also collected two pension payments. The body was discovered by the other sister who lives in Abruzzo, who had not heard from her mother for several weeks.

Meanwhile it has emerged that in June the social services of Mondragone they had gone to visit the mother and daughter after being alerted by an anonymous phone call, presumably from neighbors, who reported the elderly woman's complaints.
