Until January 7, 2024, during the Christmas holidays, the Capodimonte Museum can be visited every day except Wednesday (weekly closing day).
The "Beyond Caravaggio" exhibition is currently underway, along with Gian Maria Tosatti's "Damasa" installation on the second floor of the Museum and the "Napoli Explosion" photography exhibition, dedicated to Naples' New Year's Eve fireworks display, in the Cellaio. The Royal Woods and Park will be open during their usual hours (7.00:17.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.).
New for the holidays is the opening of Porta Santa Maria ai Monti, known as Porta Ponti Rossi, to the public, particularly to allow local residents direct access to the Real Bosco. Access is pedestrian-only from 8.30:17.00 a.m., while the gate will close according to the Real Bosco's regular opening hours (XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. in December and January).
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, like every first Sunday of the month, admission to the Capodimonte Museum and Royal Woods will be free.
