A new Hannibal Lecter scholar is prowling the streets of Naples according to the story of one of his alleged victims.
The Carabinieri of the Capodimonte station intervened at the CTO in Naples for a man injured in the left ear. According to an initial reconstruction still to be verified, the man (Neapolitan born in '64) would have argued with another person in via Calata Capodichino.
During the argument, the victim was allegedly punched in the head. Then a bite to the ear tore off part of the auricle.
The 59-year-old was discharged with a 15-day prognosis. Investigations by the Carabinieri of the Stella company are underway to clarify the dynamics, verify the truthfulness of the injured man's story and identify the person responsible.
The military is looking for useful images by viewing public and private cameras in the area.
