“Che so' pe' tte” is a preview of great class and depth, in which there is all the truthfulness of an artist who grew up around her own vocal talents, between the love of a large family (daughter of artists), of the public who adored her from the first notes and the streets of her city.
The arrangements of the entire album were curated by maestro Adriano Pennino at the Zeus Record studios in Doganella.“I believe that Valentina,” Pennino explains, “when she performs a song, has the “unconscious” ability to provoke strong emotions that touch the soul of those who listen to her, and I am always struck by the fact that, despite the years and the life she has lived always trying to realize her dream, she fundamentally maintains the same hungry look for novelty of the girl from many years ago, who even then with the determination of a consummate artist was able to connect with the public and make everyone agree. It is a characteristic that many so-called “top-class” singers possess and that goes beyond being in tune or knowing how to be on stage.”
Valentina Stella is considered the most beautiful and genuine voice of the Neapolitan musical scene. Often associated with the myth of Gilda Mignonette, she was launched by PierFrancesco Pingitore, on the advice of Tullio De Piscopo, in the television shows Biberon, Crème caramel, Saluti e baci, and others, eventually replacing the legendary Gabriella Ferri. She met great people of cinema and television, such as Federico Fellini, Mario Monicelli, Raffaella Carrà, Maurizio Costanzo and others. In the theater, she was one of the main interpreters of Novecento Napoletano, with Marisa Laurito, and alongside Enzo Cannavale and Carlo Buccirosso in various performances.
At the cinema, he appears in Benvenuti al Sud and Il principe abusivo by Alessandro Siani with some of his songs, Viaggio con Anita, with Giancarlo Giannini and Goldie Hawn, and C'era una volta un re, with Paola Borboni.
