Now in its 10th edition, the Terre di Campania Award, created with the aim of rewarding outstanding personalities, originally from Campania or working in its territory, who have particularly distinguished themselves for the development and valorization of the territory, sees the Director of the Archaeological Park of Ercolano, Francesco Sirano, receive the Terre di Campania Award, Archaeology section.
Honored Director Sirano intervenes “It is an award that I share with all the staff who work every day with seriousness and dedication in the protection and enhancement of this heritage of humanity of which I have been entrusted with the management. Catalyzing cultural activities and expanding the network made up of institutional, educational, research, experimental and concrete experience of knowledge nodes and connections beyond the physical boundaries of the Park: this is one of our missions together with the construction of a shared identity. I feel the duty to thank the organization for the recognition received, and I am sure that it will represent an incentive for an even more engaging path.”
The Terre di Campania award was born from the desire to bring to light human and social values that nourish the know-how and desire to cultivate the beauty and goodness present in our territory.
