The investigations conducted by Carabinieri of the Chiaia Station have documented repeated threatening, morbid and harassing behavior, all motivated by strong jealousy and, once the romantic relationship between the two young people ended, by the failure to accept the situation.
The 19-year-old allegedly tried to control his ex several times, following her and showing up at her house Spanish Neighborhoods against her will, even at night. He allegedly forbade her from meeting her friends and from dressing in ways he deemed excessively flashy. The control also extended to the girl's cell phone: all male contacts in her address book and on social networks were to be deleted.
After the relationship ended, the young man allegedly made numerous threats to the victim via phone, in person, and through social media. On some occasions, he sent the victim photographs of himself holding a gun.
After the complaint, the girl was given a mobile angel
The Carabinieri collected the testimonies of the victim and her family members, acquired chats, messages sent by the suspect and completely identified him.
Given the seriousness of the circumstances, the injured party was equipped in the days immediately following the formalization of the complaint with the Mobile Angel device, which was activated several times during some of the stalking episodes. Currently, the 19-year-old is being held in the Poggioreale prison.
