The song “Non ci cascheremo mai”, with Max Gazzè among the authors and performed by Salvatore Flamini, a 9 year old boy from Napoli, was the favourite among the first seven proposed during the 66th edition of Zecchino d'Oro, broadcast live on Rai1 from the Antoniano studios in Bologna.
The jury, composed of very young people and special guests Gabriele Cirilli, Elettra Lamborghini and Lino Banfi, voted on the songs. Banfi advised the judges to use the paddles only for positive votes, from 6 to 10, taking inspiration from the experience at Zecchino d'Oro. The 17 mini-interpreters, coming from ten Italian regions and three foreign countries (Greece, Bulgaria and Albania), were accompanied by the Piccolo Coro directed by Sabrina Simoni.
Carolina Benvenga and Andrea Dianetti hosted the first two episodes, while Carlo Conti, artistic director, will host the final on Sunday from 17.20:20 pm to 2023:XNUMX pm. The XNUMX edition, entitled “La musica può”, celebrates the impact of music in its sixty years of history and its future potential.
Antoniano uses the music of the children of the Piccolo Coro and the Zecchino d'Oro to support the Franciscan soup kitchens of Operazione Pane and the Therapeutic Center for families with children and young people with developmental difficulties.
