Gennaro Caporaso is officially once again the mayor of Tocco Caudio and President of the Mountain Community of Taburno. The mayor had been temporarily suspended from office following an investigation by the Benevento Prosecutor's Office.

After the Court of Appeal revoked the precautionary measure against the mayor, considering the seriousness of the evidence to be non-existent, the prefect of Benevento, Carlo Torlontano, adopted the decree to ascertain the cessation of the cause for suspension from elective office and reinstated Mayor Caporaso.
