They would have sung neomelodic songs and shared the video on Tik Tok.
Three inmates in the Terni prison were reported by the police after being found in possession of a mobile phone.
The measure was triggered after the Naples mobile squad reported to the Terni Police Headquarters a video broadcast live on social media, in which three men, two of whom had their faces partially covered by scarves, singing neomelodic songs, were preparing to celebrate with a freshly baked pizza.
The Neapolitan investigative office has recognized, despite being partially disguised, Francesco Pio Valda, accused of the murder of Francesco Pio Mainone, an eighteen-year-old killed by mistake on the Naples seafront on March 20, 2023, during a fight between fishing boats over a pair of stained shoes.
Francesco Pio Valda, while leaving the place, allegedly pulled out a gun and fired several gunshots, one of which killed the young man who was completely unrelated to the incident. The arrested man is the son of a member of the Cuccaro clan who died in a Camorra ambush in 2013.
Hence the investigations of the State Police which, in collaboration with the Penitentiary Police and the coordination of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, allowed the identification of the three young alleged authors of the video, all of Italian nationality, two of whom are of Campanian origin and the other Sicilian, detained for crimes related to drug trafficking, murder and mafia-type association. Having identified those responsible and the cell in which the video was recorded, personnel from the Terni mobile squad and the penitentiary police executed the search warrant issued by the Terni Prosecutor inside the prison.
Finding the mini-cell phone that, despite its size, was equipped with cameras suitable for video recording, as well as the same clothes they had used to hide their faces. For this reason, the three were reported for unauthorized access to devices suitable for communication.
