An 18-year-old resident of the "Casa Coletta" residential community in Sperone, in the province of Avellino, is currently hospitalized in serious condition after attempting to jump from the second floor of the building, from a height of six meters.
The serious fractures he sustained led to his being admitted to the intensive care unit of the "Moscati" hospital in Avellino.
Originally from Ischia , the young man had been spending his time for several months at the community home, dedicated to the assistance of individuals with disabilities and young people suffering from psycho-pathological problems, by order of the Juvenile Court of Naples.
Law enforcement is currently investigating the incident, involving the Carabinieri of the Baiano Company and the Avellino Provincial Command.
