Pozzolo is under investigation for aggravated injuries 

Emanuele Pozzolo is under investigation for aggravated assault. The prosecutor's office in Biella has opened a case against the deputy, since it is his gun that on New Year's Eve wounded a 31-year-old during the party in the Pro Loco premises in Rosazza.

However, the person directly concerned declared that he was not the one who shot. Therefore, this is a necessary act in order to be able to carry out all the necessary investigations.

The act would be necessary to carry out the appropriate ballistic tests on the seized pistol.
“He was very cheerful and was showing the gun holding it in the palm of his hand”. This is how the behaviour of Emanuele Pozzolo, Fdi deputy, was described by a witness, present at the New Year’s Eve party at the Pro Loco in Rosazza, who wishes to remain anonymous and who has already been interviewed by the Carabinieri.

“The gun was very small and fit entirely in the palm of the hand. It almost looked like a lighter,” explains the witness who says that the shot “was heard suddenly and we didn’t even have time to ask to put the gun away, given that there were also children there.” According to the testimonies given to the Carabinieri, immediately after the shot, two of the officers from the escort of Undersecretary Andrea Delmastro, who was not at the party at the time, intervened and gave first aid to the injured man, a 31-year-old electrician, and made the gun safe.
