“The road connecting Via Giovanni XXIII and Via Marna is a project that has been awaited for over ten years, and we are finally delivering it to the citizens.” To say it is Ilaria Abagnale, mayor of Sant'Antonio Abate, who yesterday afternoon cut the ribbon of the new road near the school building of the Mosè Mascolo Comprehensive Institute.
“A road that will improve mobility in that area of Sant'Antonio Abate – says Ilaria Abagnale – and that could have been done at least ten years ago, but no one had really tried to do it. We succeeded thanks to the commitment of the municipal offices, the administrative will, and the citizens who made the project feasible..
"The construction of the road was one of the primary objectives of the administrative mandate, and we knew it wouldn't be easy, as it affected a series of private properties, with residents requiring involvement in amicable transfers. Instead, through constant dialogue with residents and thanks to everyone's commitment, – concludes Ilaria Abagnale – we are finally able to deliver to citizens a modern, safe, strategic infrastructure that is attentive to the needs of those who live in that area".
