The State Police has recently identified and reported fourteen more individuals responsible for the Roman salute during the commemorative event held on January 7th at the former MSI headquarters in via Acca Larenzia. The DIGOS of the Police Headquarters of Roma reported these individuals to the Judicial Authority, after in-depth investigations conducted through the analysis of the images collected by the Scientific Police at the site of the event.
The identification of these individuals was also possible thanks to the investigative contribution of the DIGOS of other Italian Police Headquarters. Among the subjects involved, in addition to the Roman militants, individuals from Avellino, Caserta, Naples and Forlì-Cesena were identified, recognized as activists of the Casapound movement who had participated in the demonstration in the Capital.
The investigation continues with the aim of tracing the identity of additional individuals responsible for the gesture. Currently, 19 people are under investigation by the State Police for their behavior during the event. The Rome Police Headquarters provided this information regarding the additional reports.
