Agerola, son of dairy entrepreneur dies in accident

Onofrio Fusco, 35, was returning home from a motorcycle ride on the Amalfi Coast, accompanied by a friend who was riding another motorcycle. A tragic accident occurred one kilometer from his home, in the town center of Agerola.

Fusco, son of a well-known entrepreneur in the local dairy sector, whose father is the owner of the company “Fior d'Agerola”, lost control of his powerful Ducati in the one-way street of via Villani, in the Bomerano neighborhood.

Despite wearing a helmet, the fall was fatal. The causes of the accident are still under investigation. The friend who was driving in front of him is in shock. Despite the resuscitation attempts of 118 and the intervention of the Carabinieri, local police and the mayor of agerola, Tommaso Naclerio, Fusco died on the spot.

The body remained on the road until the arrival of the judicial authorities of Naples, who authorized the transfer to the morgue of Castellammare di Stabia. The autopsy will be able to provide further details on the dynamics of the accident, also considering the low speed at which Fusco, an expert motorcyclist, was traveling. He leaves behind a wife and a six-year-old daughter.
