Checks in the nightlife venues, in the area of Piazza dei Martiri in Napoli: the agents of the Chiaia Operational Unit of the local police have ascertained that in a premises in via Ferrigni alcohol was being served to minors. The local police personnel in fact witnessed the purchase of alcoholic beverages by a fourteen-year-old and a thirteen-year-old, the two children were subsequently returned to their parents and the owner of the premises reported to the Judicial Authority.
On the road safety front, checks were carried out in via Mergellina, in the area of via Orazio where two uninsured vehicles were fined, a driver who was caught driving without a license and was reported to the judicial authorities as a repeat offender.
Even in the neighborhood Vomero, near Piazza Vanvitelli and Piazza degli Artisti the local police carried out investigations: 4 premises were checked without finding any violations while a street vendor without a permit had his goods confiscated. 18 vehicles were fined for parking violations, two of which were towed away.
