Operation “High Impact” is currently underway in the province of Avellino, with extraordinary controls to prevent and combat predatory crimes and home thefts.
The special units of the Carabinieri of the CIO of the 10th Campania Regiment are also involved in these operations. In the last two days, fifty patrols have monitored the hinterland of Solofra and the Irno Valley, on the border with the province of Salerno, while another sixty patrols have been deployed in the territory of the Calore Valley.
Recently, both of these areas have seen numerous thefts from commercial establishments and homes. During this operation, nearly six hundred vehicles were checked and as many people were identified, with three of them reported for drunk driving and three others, with criminal records, reported for mandatory expulsion orders.
