Yet another action to combat widespread petty crime in the areas of Piazza Garibaldi and the Vasto district.
In fact, yesterday morning, the agents of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, the Carabinieri, the financial police of the Guardia di Finanza, with the support of personnel from the Metropolitan Police and the ASL Napoli 1 Center and with the collaboration of the Campania Crime Prevention Department and the agents of the Railway Police Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Piazza Garibaldi, Corso Novara, Via Milano and Via Torino.
During the operation, 130 people were identified, two of whom were administratively fined for possession of narcotics for personal use, 31 vehicles and 10 commercial activities were checked, issuing administrative fines for a total of 2400 euros and also seizing 15 kg of untraceable foodstuffs.
Finally, the operators reported a citizen, of Algerian nationality, for failure to comply with the order to leave the territory of the State.
