He had robbed two young French tourists, on the night of October 23, 2022, inside a tourist accommodation facility in Anacapri.
But thanks to the investigations and some images from the video surveillance circuits, the robber was caught, identified and arrested. He is a 35 year old local man who was handcuffed this morning by the police on the island of Capri.
The investigations, in fact, carried out by the Capri Police Station, have allowed us to reconstruct what happened. The two victims, while sleeping in their hotel room, were surprised by the man, who had entered the room armed with a knife and with his face covered.
The man threatened the two women and made them hand over the gold they were carrying before fleeing.
Thanks to the investigations, the State Police collected serious evidence of guilt against the man, who was then arrested and taken to prison.
