The Naval Air Operations Department of Napoli, within the scope of the intensification of environmental police services and protection of maritime and river state property, has completed a complex and articulated operation called “Playa Bonita”, which involved the military personnel of the Naval Station of Napoli and the Naval Operations Section of Salerno in numerous checks of tourist-accommodation facilities operating in the absence of the required authorizations in state property, customs and urban planning matters.
The checks, for which aerial photogrammetric surveys were also used, allowed to ascertain the absence of land registry of 12 structures and the failure to pay local taxes (IMU and TARI) for approximately € 1.760.000,00 relating to the period from 2018 to 2022.
