The hearing was held before the Naples Review Court against Vincenzo Taglialatela, 24 years old, accused of attempted murder of a minor under 17 years old.
The incident occurred in conjunction with his cousin Giovanni Taglialatela, aged 21 (the latter was initially untraceable during searches and then spontaneously handed himself in to the Secondigliano prison on 4 January last.
The charge is attempted murder, which occurred on December 24th in Via delle Repubbliche Marinare in Napoli, in collaboration with his cousin Giovanni Taglialatela because he had repeatedly wounded (5 stabs) the victim with a cutting weapon, also hitting his head (a vital organ).
The Court of Appeal, having taken note of the medical records and of a report presented by the defense (lawyer Davide Della Pieta'), ordered house arrest for Vincenzo Taglialatela.
The medical records were purchased by the defense in a timely manner in order to demonstrate that the blows inflicted did not put the young victim's life in danger.
