After a series of phone calls, the poor woman is waiting for the Municipality to formalize a regular complaint against the illegal occupant. The woman would also have gone to the Carabinieri to report the illegal occupation of the apartment to which she is assigned as per municipal documents.
The public housing in via Tavernola has been the focus of a series of investigations by the local police, which has discovered numerous illegal occupants who have settled there over the years, also as a result of the lack of controls by the municipality, with some reported for theft of electricity and water.
