There is also F2, aka Vincenzo Di Lauro, 49 years old, the second son of the former Secondigliano area boss, Paolo Di Lauro alias Ciruzzo o' milionario among the five arrested by the Carabinieri on the orders of the Naples DDA for an extortion of over 100 thousand euros to the detriment of an entrepreneur from Arzano.
The precautionary order, signed by the investigating judge Chiara Bardi, reached in prison in addition to Di Lauro also Umberto Lamonica, 45 years old, and an old acquaintance of the police force like Giovanni Cortese, o' cavallaro. The 43 year old in the past weeks had been reached by the order on drug trafficking with 29 arrests linked to the super nacors Raffaele Imperiale and Brown Carbone.
The son of the deceased boss Federico Bizzarro also arrested
This morning, instead, Gennaro Bizzarro, 44 years old, son of Federico Bizzarro who, until the day he was murdered in Qualiano (April 26, 2004, therefore still in the pre-feud period, which “conventionally” broke out on October 30, 2004, with the double homicide Montaino – Salierno), was the Melito area boss for the Di Lauro clan. And finally Mario Cortese, 21 years old, relative of Giovanni Cortese.
Vincenzo Di Lauro and Umberto Lamonica are accused of participating in a joint extortion of 100.000 euros to the detriment of the manager of a slot machine hall in Arzano. The money was obtained through threats of various kinds, both explicit and implicit. The victim was pressured to give up his slot machine hall, a source of considerable earnings, in exchange for 150.000 euros, with the promise of protection by his ex-wife's partner, who threatened reprisals following previous disagreements.
Faced with the manager's refusal, the payment of a bribe was subsequently requested several times, initially set at 280.000 euros but later reduced to 100.000 euros during a meeting held on 22 December 2018.
Di Lauro, Lamonica and an intermediary took part in this summit. According to the investigation, on January 8, 2019, the victim actually paid the sum into the hands of a representative of the Di Lauro clan.
