Arzano – Construction of new town hall amidst poisons and the eviction of “inconvenient” municipal officials transferred: the contract increases by one million euros. Reports are filed with the Prefect. Councilor Gennaro Ferone: “Only a waste of public money”.
It is raising many doubts and concerns on the part of the Prefecture of Napoli the management of the PNRR funds for the construction of the new town hall in via Napoli following the demolition of the old structure and the design assignment entrusted, through the CUC Nolana to the associates Boeri, Suburbia, Perillo which, according to the anti-Camorra journalist Mimmo Rubio, the assignment by means of a tender (the only participants to possess the requirements were precisely the Ati Boeri-Suburbia-Perillo), would have already been on everyone's lips.
“But who will tell the prefect that the new town hall, with funding from the Ministry of the Interior obtained by the Extraordinary Commission, and whose designer was already known in advance, has increased in cost by another million euros, reaching a total estimated cost of 6.5 million euros?”, specified Rubio who also denounced the isolation implemented against municipal officials considered inconvenient because they were considered “collaborators” of the State (law enforcement and the Judiciary).
Doubts also on the report of the Boeri study which has, according to what was published in the determination by the municipal manager Gianfranco Marino, certified the need for a variant. In addition to the councilor Salvatore Boreale, the councilor Gennaro Ferone has also struck blows.

The Town Hall will be built entirely on the surface, taking away and wasting 7.500 square meters of land from the citizens, formerly Tela Penelope and who knows why... There has been no democratic debate on the project, with the opposition in any institutional committee, since the committee could have discussed, in order to provide a far-sighted service to the citizens, with over six million euros, or 12 billion in the old currency.
