Late yesterday evening, a fatal road accident occurred on State Road 7 bis, near Avellino.
A 62-year-old woman died while driving her car after hitting a retaining wall on the roadway. The causes of the accident are still being investigated by the competent authorities, including the Carabinieri and the Fire Department.
It is assumed that the loss of control of the car occurred in the stretch that runs alongside the FCA plant. Despite the immediate intervention of the emergency services 118, unfortunately it was not possible to do anything other than confirm the death of the woman.
