The Carabinieri of the Aversa Company have executed the arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Naples North Court against a suspect.
The individual is suspected of being responsible for the robbery that took place on the morning of January 5th at the branch of Aversa of the Banca Popolare di Bari with a loot of 75 thousand euros.
The investigations conducted led to the identification of the individual responsible for the crime, in collaboration with others still being identified. Analysis of public and private video surveillance systems, along with photographic comparisons, helped gather incriminating evidence.
The arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor was executed on the same night in Naples against a 56-year-old man.
The clothes used in the robbery and part of the loot were found
During the house search, clothing believed to match that worn during the robbery was found, along with a sum of cash presumably part of the proceeds from the crime. The suspect was then taken to the Naples-Poggioreale prison.
