The families of Antonio Russo, Vincenzo Cimmino and Raffaele Russo, the three Neapolitans who disappeared in Mexico six years ago, on January 31, 2018, continue to ask for justice and insist that the search not stop.
In particular, they appeal to the competent authorities, urging them to force corrupt police officers, already arrested and convicted, to reveal further information on the fate of their loved ones.
The lawyer Claudio Falleti, legal representative of the families, emphasizes that there is no concrete evidence of the death of their compatriots, so for them, Antonio, Vincenzo and Raffaele, are still missing. Recently, Falleti together with Francesco Russo, son of Raffaele, brother of Antonio and cousin of Vincenzo, had a meeting at the Consulate of Mexico in Rome.
On January 29, 2022, a group of corrupt agents was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the kidnapping and disappearance of the three Italians, suspected of having handed them over to drug traffickers, according to the investigations. Falleti and Russo are now asking the Mexican authorities to put pressure on the corrupt police officers currently in prison, so that they reveal the truth about the fate of the three compatriots.
The lawyer highlights the international collaboration with legal professionals in Spain and directly in Mexico, which allows them to stay constantly updated and engaged in the search for the truth. The fight to find Lello, Antonio and Vincenzo has been going on for six years, and Falleti stresses that they will not give up until they have definitive answers.
