The hole gang has made a new attempt at Giugliano in Campania, targeting a branch of a banking institution located in the central Via Aniello Palumbo.
Fortunately, the robbery was foiled thanks to the timely intervention of law enforcement. According to initial reconstructions, the criminals dug a hole in the floor to gain access to the underground via the sewer system.
Traffic is currently blocked to allow law enforcement to conduct all necessary investigations. The incident is the focus of investigations conducted by local police officers, who have begun patrolling the streets in search of the fugitives.
The recordings from the internal video surveillance cameras of the bank branch were also acquired, which could have filmed members of the gang or accomplices even in the past few days, during the preparatory phases, when in all likelihood inspections were also carried out to study the premises.
