The story of the 12-year-old girl who was kidnapped after leaving school in Battipaglia, in the province of Salerno, and later released near the cemetery in Montecorvino Pugliano is tinged with mystery.
The incident occurred on Monday, January 9, the day classes resumed after the Christmas break. The girl, who does not live in Battipaglia but in a local center, she was hooded and captured by unknown people she did not recognize.
The mother was notified and reached her daughter at the emergency room of the "Santa Maria della Speranza" hospital in Battipaglia, where the officers of the local police station and those of the Flying Squad also intervened. Salerno.
Medical tests ruled out recent sexual assault, but highlighted evidence of possible previous assault.
Investigations revealed that last May the girl had also been hooded and captured, only to be released in front of another school in another municipality.

The mayor of Bellizzi, Mimmo Volpe, wrote on Facebook: "There was no case of kidnapping at the Bellizzi school. This is purely for the sake of accuracy and truthful reporting. The Bellizzi middle school was in no way involved in the case of the girl's kidnapping. It remains a serious and unacceptable act. We stand with the little girl's family. We hope these irresponsible and shameful individuals are swiftly identified."
