The Carabinieri of the Company of Benevento Yesterday evening, they executed an order issued by the Sannio Court ordering the pre-trial detention of a 43-year-old man under investigation for domestic abuse against his parents and aggravated extortion against his mother.
Only a few days ago, the 43-year-old had been subjected to the measure of prohibition from approaching the offended persons and the places frequented by them with the application of the electronic bracelet, which specifically included the family home.
A few hours after the measure was implemented, the man violated the imposed provisions by going to the family's home and threatening his brother by brandishing a knife.
The prosecutor of the Benevento Public Prosecutor's Office then requested an increase in the precautionary measure and, in the absence of a suitable residence to place the suspect under house arrest, the investigating judge ordered his detention in prison.
