On the morning of January 20, the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza carried out a high-impact operation in the Parco Verde and the surrounding areas of Caivano, in the province of Naples.
Around 250 law enforcement officers carried out numerous searches and checks, which led to the arrest of a man for illegal possession of narcotics. Other people were reported on various counts.
Two hunting rifles held without the required permits, various quantities of cocaine, cash and a connected video surveillance system were seized.
The activity also allowed us to identify numerous people, check dozens of vehicles, some of which were seized and administratively detained, and contest numerous violations of the Highway Code.
Environmental checks are underway for some production activities
This is a structured and continuous service, which also involved specialized departments of the police force. The activity was supported by the Metropolitan Police of Naples and the Fire Brigade and controlled from above by a helicopter of the Flight Department of the State Police.
