The Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate has carried out a preventive seizure, ordered by the preventive measures section of the Court of Trieste, against a 50-year-old Naples.
The man has been hit over time by various personal and real precautionary measures and arrested in October 2020 after the seizure of an illegally held firearm and related ammunition, jewels, valuable watches and a considerable sum of money, considered by investigators "fruit - the note specifies - of usurious and extortionate activities, aggravated by the use of the method mafioso".
The seizure, the DIA specifies, followed a proposal submitted by the Trieste district attorney, based on investigations carried out by the Julian DIA, which revealed that the 50-year-old, including through a front man, possessed assets disproportionate to his declared income.
The total value of the seized assets, including cash, valuables, and high-powered motorcycles, is estimated at over €220.
