Carife, four-story building on fire: firefighter injured

A four-story building caught fire last night in the historic center of Carife, in the province of Avellino.

In the area of ​​the Madonna delle Grazie church, the fire brigade teams from the Grottaminarda and Bisaccia detachments intervened, having had great difficulty operating due to the limited space.

During the operations, a firefighter fell and had to be hospitalized in Avellino. The family was not at home at the time of the fire. The flames were extinguished a few hours later and the area was made safe.

Among the possible causes, a spark caused by an electric scooter. For the relevant surveys, the Carabinieri of the Nucleo Radiomobile intervened.
