A request for help was received this morning at the emergency number "112", at the Operations Centre of the Carabinieri Company of Casal di Principe, allowed the military personnel of the local Operational and Radiomobile Unit, together with personnel from the Fire Brigade to Caserta, to intervene in one of the small streets of that center where a few moments before a car had been set on fire, right next to one of the houses present.
The owner of the burning vehicle, present at the scene, immediately reported that the fire could have been started by her ex-partner.
The woman, visibly shocked and worried, reported that she had been a victim of violence and threats from the man for a long time, living in a state of anxiety and fear.
The military personnel of the Arma, after a thorough inspection, immediately began the investigations aimed at reconstructing the dynamics of the arson event and identifying the person responsible.
At the same time, the man reported by his ex for mistreatment was identified and released in a state of freedom.
