A 44-year-old man living in Casal di Principe, already known to law enforcement, was arrested by the Carabinieri for brutally assaulting his partner in front of their minor son. The man was charged with domestic violence and taken to prison.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, after yet another argument that took place in their home, decided to call the emergency number "112" to report the violence she had suffered.
Two patrols of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Carabinieri company of Casal di Principe intervened immediately. Upon their arrival, the soldiers found the woman in the courtyard, visibly shaken and with clear signs of beatings on her face.
After being calmed and reassured, the woman refused medical treatment and went to the Carabinieri station, where she filed a complaint against her partner. During her testimony, she described the man's violent behavior, the repeated threats he made in front of their son, and her fear of reporting the matter.
