''It was time to introduce clear rules for influencers, aimed at ensuring transparency and clarity for consumers.
With the approval of the new Agcom guidelines, influencers will now have to clearly and clearly declare the advertising nature of their content, says Martina Donini, national president of Udicon (Union for Consumer Defense).

"The time of mysteries hidden behind enthusiastic and carefully crafted reviews of commercial products is over," Donini continues. "Now consumers will finally be able to distinguish between a genuine opinion and an advertising endorsement. The measures on commercial communications, the protection of fundamental rights, and the technical committee for the adoption of a code of conduct are important steps toward greater transparency and accountability towards users in a constantly evolving sector."
"We are particularly proud of this result given our commitment to achieving this goal. The text of the new rules is the result of a solid and focused collaboration between consumer associations. Udicon has always been at the forefront of the investigation phase, representing and protecting users' interests. We will continue to monitor these new rules to ensure they are respected and effectively contribute to protecting consumers," he concludes.
