The investigation conducted by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office into the Balocco 'Pandoro Pink Christmas' case and the failure to donate charity to the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin by Chiara Ferragni it could soon evolve into a fraud investigation.
To date, no criminal charges or suspects have been identified. Officers from the Milan Financial Police, tasked by Deputy Eugenio Fusco with obtaining documentation from the Antitrust Authority, have filed a judicial police report with the Prosecutor's Office in the last few hours. The report appears to alter the initial prosecution's case, which initially ruled out fraud while considering the possibility of charging commercial fraud.
Currently, Chiara Ferragni, entrepreneur and influencer, is not yet formally under investigation. The investigation began following a complaint for aggravated fraud filed by Codacons and Assourt with 104 Italian prosecutors' offices.
This complaint was motivated by the fines imposed by the Competition and Market Authority, which amount to over one million euros against the companies Fenice srl and TBS Crew srl, responsible for the trademarks and rights related to Chiara Ferragni, and 420 thousand euros against Balocco.
