
Thirteen precautionary measures were ordered by the investigating judge of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and carried out by the Carabinieri of the local company in Castel Volturno and in the provinces of Caserta, Salerno, and Teramo as part of an investigation into drug dealing coordinated by the Sammarinese Prosecutor's Office.
The operation involved 100 men, 40 vehicles, 20 support personnel from the special SOS teams, and four canine units searching for narcotics, weapons, and explosives. Two arrests were made during searches conducted overnight.

Over 500 grams of narcotics including cocaine, heroin and hashish were also seized. Four dogs were also involved, two anti-drug and two for the search for weapons and explosives.
